Lazy Dog Farm began when I decided to make a change and do what I felt passionate about: farming and living off the land for a better life. We started with four registered young Southdown Babydoll lambs in 2022 and of course, needed a couple of livestock guardian dogs to watch out for them. These "lazy dogs" have become the lifeblood of the farm, hence the farm name!

Since then, the flock has grown and the gentle nature of these small adorable sheep continues to impress us. They really are calm, intelligent, easy-to-manage and care for, and they're excellent mothers. 

Babydolls are desired for their wool, which is among the best in the industry. We have had beautiful wool blankets made and are considering other items (everyone loves wool socks), which we've given as gifts to our loved ones.
